A romantic place with majestic view surrounded by nature on the Tuscan hills
This beautiful property was built in 1500 and it was utilized as a “Metato”, a litle house used to dry and roast chestnuts. Later It became a farmhouse and its land has mostly been farmed with olive trees ever since. It is located near a beautiful, peaceful village named Cozzile, within nature on the gentle hills above Montecatini Terme, a well known city for its thermal springs and Spas.
The house faces South and it is bathed in sun all year round; it also offers a wonderful view of the valley right through to the Island of Elba. In the past the property was well known in the villages nearby for its well spring, which is still the main source of water for the house. It is said by local people that its water has healing properties.
